In partnership with local social enterprise DOSHA Woodcraft and Hong Kong-based non-profit organisation People Service Centre, Jardine Matheson and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) came together to co-host an innovative and meaningful community project “Revive and Thrive”.

Since the project’s launch in April 2023, "Revive and Thrive" has seen active participation of more than 200 volunteers from across the Jardine Matheson Group. Volunteers visited subdivided flat residents to understand their needs, engaged in woodcraft workshops, and delivered upcycled tablet holders and tailored furniture made from wooden palettes recycled from Hactl operations. Through the six-month programme, 66 children from grassroots families and six beneficiary families were impacted.

“Revive and Thrive” serves as a powerful example of the positive impact that can be achieved through cross-business collaborations. It also highlights Jardine Matheson's commitment to raising awareness about sustainability in our business operations and community engagement. By leveraging our collective expertise and resources, we are actively contributing to the well-being and sustainable development of society.
