Community Mental Health Link (The Link)
MINDSET is providing funding support to four NGOs for enhanced families under the Community Mental Health Link (The Link) programme established by The Social Welfare Department. The Link provides a community support service for the ex-mentally ill living in the community and to their families and caregivers. It aims to develop their physical, mental and social capabilities to the fullest possible extent with an ultimate goal of helping them reintegrate into the community.
MINDSET is providing three years' funding to four NGOs amounting to nearly HK$4 million. The NGOs, namely Baptist Oi Kwan Social Services, New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong and the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong, will use the funds to expand and enhance their services at centres located in Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi, Tung Chung, Tin Shui Wai, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Wong Tai Sin.
