Community Mental Health Link (The Link)
MINDSET is providing funding support to four NGOs for enhanced families under the Community Mental Health Link (The Link) programme established by The Social Welfare Department. The Link provides a community support service for the ex-mentally ill living in the community and to their families and caregivers. It aims to develop their physical, mental and social capabilities to the fullest possible extent with an ultimate goal of helping them reintegrate into the community.

MINDSET is providing three years' funding to four NGOs amounting to nearly HK$4 million. The NGOs, namely Baptist Oi Kwan Social Services, New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong and the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong, will use the funds to expand and enhance their services at centres located in Tsuen Wan, Tsing Yi, Tung Chung, Tin Shui Wai, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Wong Tai Sin.

社區精神健康連網服務(連網)
社會福利署於二零零二年成立「連網」,向非牟利團體提供資助,為精神病康復者及其家屬提供社群支援服務,協助康復者盡量發展體能、智能和社交能力,以幫助他們重新融入社會為目的。「思健」在今年開始提供為期三年合共約四百萬港元的資助予四個參與「連網」的非牟利團體,受助的浸會愛群社會服務處、新生精神康復會、利民會及香港心理衛生會利用「思健」的資助,加強各機構於荃灣、青衣、東涌、天水圍、屯門、元朗及黃大仙的中心擴展及改良服務。

The Community Chest of Hong Kong
Jardine Matheson Limited, Hongkong Land, Dairy Farm, Zung Fu and Gammon Construction donated approximately HK$1.8 million to the Community Chest to support mental health related causes for the year 2008/9. Funds were allocated to the following three agencies:

  • Christian Oi Hip Fellowship Limited to organize activities for mutual-help groups and to operate the Resource Centre for ex-mental patients;
  • Hong Kong Family Welfare Society for services to support mental health group work;
  • Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong to provide vocational assessment and intervention enhancement project for people with mental illness.

公益金
怡和集團與旗下的置地集團、牛奶公司、仁孚行、金門建築合共捐款約港幣一百八十萬元予公益金,在二零零八至二零零九年度繼續支持精神健康服務機構推動的活動,包括:

  • 基督教愛協團契的互助小組及資源中心活動;
  • 香港家庭福利會的支援精神健康社區服務活動;
  • 利民會提供就業諮詢及技能提升等各項服務予精神病康復者。


Guangzhou YangAi Special Children Parent Club
MINDSET pledged further funds to support the operation of the Guangzhou YangAi Special Children Parent Club ('the YangAi Club') for another two years. The YangAi Club is an officially registered NGO in China which operates a growing network of parent support centres for over 800 mentally and physically disabled children and their families in China. MINDSET has been supporting the Club since 2002. In addition, 7-Eleven South China also leverages its retail network to set up donation boxes in over 450 outlets, making in-kind donations and providing volunteer support to the Club.

廣州市揚愛特殊孩子家長俱樂部
「思健」通過未來兩年將繼續撥款支持廣州市揚愛特殊孩子家長俱樂部。「思健」自二零零二年起已開始支持此俱樂部,此慈善團體在中國註冊,在國內建有多個家長支援中心,服務逾八百名患有精神病或殘疾的兒童及其家屬。南中國7-Eleven亦透過其龐大的零售網絡,於逾四百五十間分店設置捐款箱為揚愛募捐,並捐增物資及提供義務服務以表支持。

Wellness Enhancement Programme for 512 Earthquake Victims and Disaster Relief Personnel
MINDSET donated HK$1 million to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to provide training on post-disaster counseling and relief for mainland Chinese professionals in the aftermath of the Sichuan earthquake to respond to the psycho-social needs of the survivors.

四川地震災後支援服務
「思健」捐出港幣一百萬元予香港理工大學,資助照顧四川大地震倖存災民的計劃,提供災後輔導及培訓國內專業人士,照顧在重建期間災民的心理和社會需要。
