Thirty six new Jardine Ambassadors will continue the mission of their predecessors to promote mental health to the community in the coming two years.
三十六位新任怡和親善大使將繼往開來，在未來兩年致力推廣精神健康。



Jardine Ambassadors Programme Launching Ceremony 2008
The annual launch ceremony of the Jardine Ambassadors Programme was held on 22nd July 2008 with over 100 guests attending to welcome the new Ambassadors and to thank those who had served their two-year tenure to help promote mental wellness to the community.

Ambassadors representing the Education & Prevention Stream, Community Awareness Stream and Reintegration Stream presented an overview of their activities in the past year. Students from St. Rose of Lima's College, one of the participating schools of the Health in Mind programme, shared with the guests their achievements in the past year through a drama performance. The students presented a creative drama performance called 'The Cage', calling for the removal of stigma and bias against mental illness.

怡和親善大使迎新會二零零八
為二零零八年度怡和親善大使而設的迎新會已於七月二十二日舉行。逾百名來自怡和集團旗下各公司及部門的嘉賓，一同歡迎新加入的親善大使，並表揚已服務兩年的親善大使在任內積極推動精神健康的成果。

會上，怡和親善大使的代表匯報去年舉辦的活動及成果，當中涵蓋教育及預防、社會融合及加強社會關注這三大範疇。而有份參與「Teen 使行動」的學校聖羅撒書院亦派出學生演出原創話劇，與嘉賓分享他們在「Teen 使行動」認識到的精神健康訊息。

他們的話劇以《籠牢》為名，獲得在場人士一致好評。參與的嘉賓認為此劇有趣又創新，更有效宣揚「Teen 使行動」提倡的宗旨，鼓勵社會人士消除對精神病的偏見與歧視。

Jardine Ambassadors Orientation Camp
Over 40 energetic young executives gathered at Jardines holiday flats in Lantau on 28th and 29th July 2008 for a two-day intensive training camp. They were the newly recruited Jardine Ambassadors together with the current Ambassadors who are serving their second-year term.

Activities on the first day focused on team building, while on the second day Rachel Poon, Senior Clinical Psychologist of Kwai Chung Hospital was invited to conduct a fun and educational session on basic mental health knowledge to the new ambassadors. Mrs Poon and her team also taught the new Ambassadors the skills and techniques in working with secondary school students to prepare them for the Health in Mind programme.

All Ambassadors found the training sessions enjoyable and informative. By the end of the camp, they felt like they have been friends for years! Everyone is looking forward to getting started on the MINDSET activities.

怡和親善大使迎新營
二零零八年七月二十八日，剛上任與踏入第二年任期的怡和親善大使共四十多人齊集於大嶼山的怡和度假屋，參加為期兩天的迎新營。

迎新營第一天的活動集中於建立團隊精神，第二天則為精神健康講座。大會請來葵涌醫院高級臨床心理學家潘麥瑞雯及她多位同事向新加入的怡和親善大使講解精神健康知識，並教授與年青人相處和溝通的技巧，為他們帶領「Teen 使行動」作好準備。

迎新營的時間雖短，但他們在這兩天內學到的新知識及技巧對未來一年的「思健」活動有很大的幫助，新舊怡和親善大使亦建立起寶貴的友誼。大家都已準備就緒，認清目標，為未來的一年活動而努力！
